Hi, my darlings!

I wrote as a title “Zurich for a day” when it was actually Zurich for just an afternoon. Zurich was a long stop for another trip. It was an 18 hour stop so I planned a whole day there for us. In the end, our flight got delayed plus they made a mistake with our suitcases and they couldn’t find them. So we lost many hours of our day and just had the evening. But we enjoyed that evening to the most. It was super cold but we enjoyed a little bit of winter right before Christmas! It put us in a Christmassy mood.

Did you know that in Zurich every year during Christmas time, the lights that brighten the city are called “Lucy Lights”? I was so excited when I heard that! They are called like that because of the Beatles song “Lucy in the sky with diamonds”. The lights during the most wonderful time of the year looked like little stars, little diamonds. The streets looked beautiful.

It was a lovely afternoon there. We just wandered the streets of Zurich and then had the best dinner! With that said, I guess you immediately imagine a fancy luxurious restaurant with a three-course meal and a glass of wine. Well no. I wanted to try a cheese fondue because apparently, it’s kind of traditional there. We couldn’t find a better place to do that from the Swiss Chuchi Restaurant. Totally recommend it to everyone!

For my afternoon in Zurich, I chose to wear a dress and scarf from Zara, a coat from Topshop, Stradivarius ankle boots and a Sonia Rykiel bag.
