When in Abu Dhabi

I hope everyone is healthy and sane during this challenging time. Continuing our Abu Dhabi blog post series, I would like to share with you photos from a place we actually found by accident and ended up making a whole post about it! The Emirates Palace. I have to tell you, the morning we took these photos, was one of the funniest mornings from our “when in Abu Dhabi” memories. Let me tell you why.

We were on our way to visit one of the “must-see” places in Abu Dhabi, the Qasr Al Watan (post coming up soon) when we passed by this gorgeous building. It was a pink building and I love pink in my Instagram feed! And luckily for me, I was wearing a pink skirt which was matching the building perfectly! So instead of visiting the palace next to it, we ended up taking photos in front of another one! Almost no one was there so we had the place to our selves which was weird because I think this place is a hotel. So, stairways to heaven, water fountains and long pathways was all a photographer and a travel blogger needed at that point. We ended up taking so many photos. Until a bus full of tourists came. And this lady actually stood IN FRONT OF ME to take her photo! I mean, she lifted her hands up and her arm almost hit me in the face! It was so rude but I couldn’t help laughing! Louis was crying from laughter because he saw me leaning back avoiding an accidental slap! I must admit it was so funny!

But all jokes aside, we were lucky to finish our photo shooting before the tourist bus arrived. I hope you’ll enjoy the photos as much as we do and hopefully they’ll make you “travel” from your homes.
