Hello, my darlings!

A few posts before, I wrote about one of our favourite Bali temples, Tirta Gangga. Visiting temples is one of the must things to do in Bali. Well, this is post is about another temple we have visited during our trip and fell in love with. Ulun Danu Beratan. Equally beautiful but this one felt more sacred. It was such a peaceful place, so tranquil.

Like every other morning in Bali, we woke up super early, met our driver and headed to Ulun Danu Beratan. A temple, almost an hour and a half from Ubud. We got there by 8 ish and (I’m happy to say) we were the only ones there. And I am not saying that because we could take our photos without anyone in the background. I mean that is a bonus but we mostly enjoyed it because with the absence of the “tourist” factor, we were able to actually enjoy the temple. It was so peaceful. It felt sacred. The temple, the lake even the fog made this place so beautiful.

So, we took a few photos and then walked for a bit around the lake. That’s where we met this guy who asked us if we wanted him to take us on a traditional canoe ride in the lake. I can’t remember how much it cost us but I can tell you that is definitely something you have to do if you visit Ulun Danu. The views were amazing and the dude even took photos of us, many of them Instagram worthy! :)

Anyways, I’ll let you enjoy the rest of the post (the photos)!

Love, Lucy xx

P.S. I am wearing a dress that was on sale from Zara, black slides from Forever 21 (but that’s history now) and a Balinese hat from a little souvenir store in Ubud.
