Marhaban, my darlings!
I have been MIA for the last couple of weeks but I have a good reason for that. We finally found an apartment! You have no idea how difficult it was and how long we’ve been searching for it. So I have been cheating fashion with furniture these days. I still have a lot to share from Marrakech though, so back to basics with one of my “Must Visit” places of Marrakech. Jardin Majorelle. Gorgeous gardens totally worth the visit.
Jardin Majorelle is a garden full of cacti, bamboo, palm trees and other exotic plants. Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge actually saved this place in 1980. This garden was to be sold and be replaced by a hotel but these two men bought it instead and made it into this state of art that it is today. Inside this beautiful place you will also find a memorial of Yves Saint Laurent and next to the gardens you will find the YSL Museum. The two men first visited Jardin Majorelle in 1966 and instantly fell in love with the place.
