Hello, my darlings!

In this post, I will be sharing our experience and some photos of probably our favorite temple in Bali, Tirta Gangga. We arranged a visit to a couple of temples in Bali because of course they are a major part of a place’s culture and to be honest it was one of our best days in Bali. I am telling you this because even though culture is the main reason for us to visit a country, temples are not my favourite “thing to do”. But this one was actually fun. We loved wandering around the place and feeding the fish. But I guess it was actually the experience that made it such a great day. Let me explain.

So we woke up super early in the morning to beat the crowds. It was a two-hour ride from our hotel to Tirta Gangga so we left at six o’clock. But guess what! The place was packed! I can’t imagine how crowded it would be if we had gone a few hours later! It was full of girls trying to take that famous “instagram shot”. But how on earth would we take that shot? Well, that’s where this whole “lovely experience” happened. Everyone stepped out of the water and we went there one by one! All girls were helping each other to get in and out the “shot” without falling into the water. Two Chinese girls helped me and I even helped another one. I know I am talking for a photo and that’s not really important but we both found the gesture super kind. It was such a lovely experience for us.
