Rice Terraces

Hello, my darlings!

In this post, I will share photos from probably the most famous place in Bali. The Tegallalang Rice Terraces. You will find rice fields in so many places in Bali but I guess this one is the most famous. The most “Instagrammable”. Well, we have not visited many of these rice fields to compare, but this place was amazing! The landscape was something out of this world.

To visit the Rice Terraces in Ubud, we woke up at 4 am. Something really difficult for us, hehe! We left the hotel at 5 o’clock and by 5:30 we were there. In the dark, trying to set our drone and camera using our phone’s flashlights. But before we knew it the first sun rays started shining through the palm trees and the scenery was breathtaking. We were so amazed that we just stood there admiring the view.

We were done taking photos and drone shots of this beautiful place by seven o’clock, and to be honest we went that early so we wouldn’t have many people in the background. But even if you don’t care about Instagram, you are not a photographer or have a blog, you should still visit this place as early as possible. People started arriving during sunrise and the places looked much more like a “tourist attraction” (if you’ve read the latest post, we really don’t enjoy that). We were lucky to experience a magical sunrise with only the sound of nature for music.
