Ciao, my darlings,
It has been a while since I’ve done this but we are finally back with a travel post! And as you can guess from the greeting and the title, the trip was in lovely Italy, and to be more specific, the beautiful Amalfi Coast. This was our first trip since our UAE trip which happened a week before our country got into its first lockdown back in March 2020. Well, covid isn’t over yet but traveling to Italy this summer was something much needed. Especially when you end up waking up to those breathtaking Positano Views.
Positano is a place that is pretty hard to get to from Cyprus. It took us 12 long hours to get there including flights, three trains, a ferry ride and a seven minute stair climb to our hotel. Oh, those where the longest seven minutes of our lives! But Positano is so worth the pain. For us, it’s become our favourite place (so far) in Europe. Every corner of this place is a breathtaking viewpoint. From walking the little allies watching the beach, to being at the beach watching the colourful buildings uphill.
I could talk about Positano for days but I think you would have a much clearer image of the village if I showed you some photos we took there. Almost all of them have those Positano views in the background. But who can blame us? We just couldn’t get enough. So I hope you’ll enjoy the post.
Love, Lucy xxx
