Hi my darlings!
In the previous
You cannot visit Sri Lanka without seeing this place. Without walking the train track or sit on the bench a few meters away and wait for the train to pass by. I actually wanted a hotel/apartment with the nine arch bridge as a view but I couldn’t find one. Everything was already booked. My main concern was that by the afternoon, tourists would take over the place and we wouldn’t be able to enjoy it. We hate visiting places with lots of people. Personally, I believe (including many other phobias) I also have agoraphobia! Anyway, I wouldn’t be able to take photos so, either way, I didn’t want other people there.
We ended up having a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride to the bridge. The tuk-tuk guy dropped us at the beginning of the path and we followed the signs to the bridge. Oh, the view when we got near it. It was absolutely amazing. And we were lucky enough not to have many tourists there so we were able to take a few snaps.
The photos below don’t do justice to the beauty of this place but you can get the idea. Hope you’ll enjoy the post.
Love, Lucy xx

Tip: When you visit the Nine Arch Bridge take a bottle of water with you. It was pretty hot and humid and we forgot our water so it made the whole situation much more difficult.
