Hola Chicas!

From our Mexico trip, we’ve crossed many things off our bucket list. One of those was visiting Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza was one of the largest Mayan cities with the Temple of Kukulkan stealing the whole glory. The Temple of Kukulkan, also known as El Castillo is a glorious 75-foot tall pyramid. The Mayans created the temple as a physical calendar aligned with the sun and it was such a glorious sight that it was chosen to be included in the Seven Wonders of the World.

Well, we were feeling so blessed to visit Chichen Itza and cross it off our bucket list. We had a taxi driver taking us there and it took us about two hours to get there from Tulum. Actually, we intended to visit this archaeological sight in Yucatan the previous day. We even had it booked on Viator but the morning that we were supposed to go, we both woke up with food poisoning! So we had to cancel it. But Luciano, the guy that was working in our hotel’s reception was super helpful and called this taxi driver that he knew and took care of it!
